The other 6 hours either side of sleeping.

Another month another update.
The good old days of updates every day are long gone. In-fact as Al would say; they’ve been buried 6ft under. Then stomped on, while someone took a large dump and piss on the headstone while ripping up any flowers and spitting at anyone who walks too close. Suffice to say updates are now about as rare as a sunny day in Manchester or more accurately a day without the police helicopter hovering above my house. Awww god bless Moss-side.
So what have I been doing with the other 6 hours either side of sleeping that I reserve for standing upright? Well I spend at least some of it eating, washing and ambling around the house but apart from that I’ve been doing revision. Actually I need to clarify this point and reword it to say something more akin to “putting off revision”. Yeah that sounds about right.
Anyway I am now 1/3rd of the way through the exam season and its gone well so far. I have 2 more on the 1st and the 5th but I’m not too worried about them. Still need to read through a couple of hundred pages of notes though. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, exams are not representative of how able or competent someone is! How it was ever thought that someone could express themselves in 90 minutes is beyond me. Exams suck.
As I let on before in the south park inspired blog entitled “Screw you guys I’m going to Mexico” I may have subtly let it slip that I’m going to Mexico on holiday. I am now all set to go on the 10th and have been eagerly buying summer things to knock the Mexicans off their donkeys. I even bought some white socks to go with my sandals and England shirt. Seriously though I have been trying to get hold of swimming shorts for ages but the only things I can find make me look like someone direct off a George Michael video. Why do all swimming shorts have to be covered in flowers or some weird, gay ass stitching. At this rate I may just go for a pair of pink Speedos and at least make it obvious I was stuck for choice. Same with the range of sunglasses. All of them make me look like a twat, and who the hell wants sunglasses shaped as stars or white rimmed pieces of tat. Give me a pair of black wraparounds any day and I’ll be a happy bunny.
Unfortunately the fact I’m on holiday on the 10th means I’m going to miss the first England game, Suffice to say I plan on watching the second one while holding some foreign beer and yelling at the TV while trying to imagine what Alan Hanson would be saying instead of the long haired Mexican fellow who’s probably going to be small and greasy, maybe with a sombrero. Ok maybe I might be generalising it slightly but if I don’t see a Mexican asleep on a donkey with a big hat and a poncho I’ll feel cheated.
Talking of foreign beer I am slightly apprehensive of the alcohol over there. If the best they can offer is corona and nasty, nasty tequila I think I might have to start training myself to like the stuff. In my opinion, (and I know a lot of people who agree), if a beer needs some fruit in the top to make it taste nice, it isn’t a proper beer. Ever since Gaz’s 18th b’day I have also suffered with tequila as I had a bad and cold night passed out in Fopp’s window at 10pm. Yeah I started a bit early. Might have to mix something in with it before I can drink that stuff again. Even the smell reminds me of the morning after when my puke smelt so strong of tequila I thought I could probably set it on fire.
As is the norm for this time of year I am also completely skint. I have an overdraft that is now completely shot and a holiday I need to pay for. This has facilitated a mass eBay spree where I’ve been trying desperately to sell all my surplus technology I have acquired over the last few years. The fact that I now have an excessive 4 computers and no need for at least one made me think I might have my priorities slightly skewed. Not to mention I was planning on hitting at least one festival this year. Anyone want a Pc or need pc repairs so I can make some money? In-fact if anyone in Notts knows of a job going spare let me know and I’ll do it.
