Getting ready to go ooop’ norf
Argh i have no clothes. Leaving in 24 hours…..must not panic. Thats the situation i’m at now.
Basically i’ve not washed anything in the last 2+ weeks and i now need about 2 weeks worth of clothes i just dont have. I have sorted it all out but theres still 4 loads of washing waiting and it aint looking good. Apart from that its going ok.
I still have no idea when my parents are planning on arriving back at the house so i’m always tidying up just in case. My mum would go ballistic if she saw the house like it was a few days after they left.
Inamongst all this hectic clothes washing i also plan on going round to Tommys to help set up his network and install a few programs he likes. Reckon i’ll get a few pints out of it . I am also in the process of trying to recover the data from a laptop that tried to go swimming with a beer (nice one Egner). I reckon the drive is fine as i cant see any damage and it was fairly well isolated so i have ordered an adaptor that i think will allow me to sort out the issues, and get his music back. This was a case of where downloaded music not properly backed up might mean not only does he lose data but lots more cash ontop. I have lent him my music collection till we can hopefully sort his out.
I have also updated a few things on the site. Most noticeable is the brilliant new headers at the top of the page which i am very grateful to pete for helping me with. These allow you to navigate the site with even more ease. I have also added a link to Alex Grays website which is looking pretty good (even if it is an MSN space). Unfortunalty the website hosting isn’t been updated so i am still stuck without a gallery to share the photos. Hopefully this should get sorted sooner rather then later as its starting to get a bit annoying.
Please leave comments to let me know what you think and say hi in the forums.

New 5.1 Headphones
So i bought something new. Well technically they are second hand but thats not the issue. Anyway i bought a pair of Zalman 5.1 Headphones for the Grand Total of £20 off the Bit-Tech forums (more specifically Mushky). Review Here (Mel you might notice its Rich Taylor who did the review. The worlds a small place isn’t it).
I paid for them yesterday at about half 3 and they were in my hands at 9am this morning which is pretty awesome so i need to give muchos respect to Mushky for the quick delivery. Anyway upon opening the box, (which was well padded for once), i pulled the headphones out and checked them out. Actually i went back to bed till 1pm then woke up and tested them out.
Initial reviews are good as they sound allright with all the movies i have and music is pretty good. They arn’t brilliant but tbh i didnt expect it. The real test will be gaming and more specifcally RvS l33tness. Hopefully it should be good fun killing some unsuspecting n00bs.
Anyway i plan on doing a bit of a thing everytime i buy a new gadget or toy so that i can see how much i spend on PC stuff. So far its a nice small list although i’m sure it’ll grow.
Number of Gadgets: 1
Total Cost: £20
