Long night and Poker Sunday
I’m an addict. Not to “cool and hip” things like coke and other drugs, (although i do like CocaCola), but to anything called The WestWing Series…..Whatever. Seriously i left the guys at about 2am Saturday night and by about 3pm the following day i had managed to just about watch the entire 1st series of the WestWing. I cant get enough of it. Anyway that means i haven’t slept in 47 hours which is nearing a record i think for me. It also means i am going to keep this post short.
After the marathon WestWing adventures i went to the pub to bore my mates with all the useless whitehouse trivia i had absorbed in the last 13 odd hours. Therefore they enjoyed that drival while watching the Chealse - Wigan match. Chealsea won 1-0 though it was a 92nd minute grap attempt by Crespo. Amazing what money can buy.
Anyway then it was back to mine for some beer drinking in the garden and a game of poker with a massive £1 entry price. Total pot was £6 for the winner and the second place man getting the cash back. On the night Tommy played some cracking hands late on to secure a comprehensive victory after a big mistake by Alex. I’m sure he’ll let you know how it went in more detail if you mention it. I was 4th out so didnt do too badly although i played some bad hands that cost me.Ahh well you win some, you lose some.
You should see the pile of beer cans and bottles that have grown on the windowledge in the period of a week. Its impressive. Anyway……….
